Under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President of Information Technology/CIO, the Webmaster will have overall responsibility of projects pertaining to the Dodge City Community College website and its design, development, and custom graphics. The Webmaster is responsible for designing user interface and maintaining a user-friendly resource for current, future, and past staff, faculty, and students including maintaining overall navigation flow, layout \designs, end individual graphic elements.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- To understand and commit to the Mission of the College ~ Dodge City Community College provides a student-centered learning environment where students can achieve their educational, personal, and career goals.
- Provide design maintenance of Dodge City Community College website and other college Learning Management Systems.
- Develop, maintain and provide support for the website.
- Provide ongoing analysis and monitoring of the Dodge City Community College website.
- Accurately record, update and document requests using the IT HelpDesk system by Freshdesk,
- Create, maintain and publish relevant support documentation.
- Make recommendations to the Assistant Vice President of Information Technology/CIO regarding design issues, upgrades and security relating to the website.
- Insure that all internet standards are met and in compliance to prevent the college from violating any standards.
- Maintain and administer all legal internet domains owned by Dodge City Community College.
- Ensure that website elements and solutions work with a variety of browser types and screen settings.
- Collaborate with other departments to market and develop the website to meet the goals of the college in regard to marketing, public information, enrollment management, program promotion, etc.
- Assist Faculty/Staff/Student with any issues accessing and/or navigating College websites.
- Collaborate, assist, and train departments campus wide to develop and publish information and website details on the college website.
- All other duties as assigned by the Assistant Vice President of Information Technology/CIO

Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree.
- Working understanding of the major administrative information systems in order to provide technical assistance, advice and planning input.
- Experience in Windows compatible computers, popular software applications including word processing, spreadsheet, database, and desktop publishing programs.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written to present technical information.
- Demonstrated web design experience,
- Demonstrated experience with common scripting languages including but not limited to HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery, Perl, PHP, etc.
- Able to work flexible a work schedule.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Kansas driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- Problem solving and Process improvement skills.
- Organizational and record keeping skills.
