Description: This position will manage the Occupational Health Department to ensure the accountabilities of the Occupational Health Department are timely and accurately completed to meet requirements. He/she will ensure that medical care is provided to the work force to protect, maintain and improve the health status of the employee. This person will report directly to the Health Services Manager.
Must have:
- Must have RN certification and be licensed in the state of Kansas (or have the ability to become licensed in the state of Kansas), BSN preferred
- Strong Verbal and Written skills
- Ability and willingness to manage a dynamic team of occupational nurses
- Occupational Health Knowledge
- Very Team Oriented
- Knowledge of OSHA and Worker Compensation
- Background in emergency, orthopedics and surgery and/or case management preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.
