Job Summary:
The job duties of the Utilities Supervisor include but are not limited to scheduling and monitoring the daily assignments of assigned Utilities Crews; to follow up on the progress of their job assignments; to handle all complaints from citizens in a timely and courteous manner.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years heavy equipment experience ; good customer service skills; and three (3) years supervisory/management skills.
- Knowledge of the City of Dodge City streets and overall layout.
- Class IV certification in both water and Class II certification in wastewater or ability to obtain such within time period prescribed by Kansas Division of Water Resources guidelines.
- A valid CDL, Class B Kansas motor vehicle operator’s license.
- Good driving record.
