Full Description: Step behind the bar at the historic Long Branch Saloon and help bring Old Dodge City’s Wild West history to life. This role blends hospitality with storytelling, creating a fun and memorable experience for every guest who walks through our doors.
Bartenders are responsible for serving beverages, engaging with guests, and helping maintain the atmosphere of an authentic Old West saloon. In addition to drink service, staff may share historical information and interact with visitors in a way that enhances their overall experience at the museum.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide friendly, efficient beverage service to guests
Create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere
Share historical stories and information about Dodge City and the Long Branch Saloon
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
Follow all safety, alcohol service, and museum policies
Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
Support overall guest experience throughout the attraction
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Retail, food service, or bar experience preferred, but not required
Strong guest service and communication skills
Professional, friendly, and detail-oriented
Comfortable interacting with the public in a high-traffic environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks
Schedule & Details:
Seasonal and year-round availability depending on needs
Primarily daytime and evening shifts
Flexible scheduling opportunities available
Starting pay: $14/hour
