Full Description: The B&K Shift Lead at Boot Hill Museum is responsible for managing staff during restaurant hours and leading the nightly Country Style Dinner service. This role ensures smooth kitchen operations, quality food service, and excellent guest experiences while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and teamwork.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old
Minimum of 6 months of kitchen experience required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Must be able to lift 40 lbs
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
Responsibilities:
Supervise staff during restaurant hours and evening dinner service
Lead the nightly Country Style Dinner operations
Ensure food quality, presentation, and timely service
Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards
Help maintain inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the Kitchen Manager
Assist with grocery runs and restocking supplies as needed
Assist with staff training, shift duties, and problem-solving
Handle guest concerns and support daily restaurant operations
Schedule:
Seasonal position (May - September)
25-40 hours per week
