Short Description: This is a project-management and client-communication position; this is not an architectural design or drafting position. Architectural experience is helpful but not required. The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal Architect, architectural designer, consultants, contractors, clients, administrative assistant, and bookkeeper. The Project Manager owns project schedules, communication rhythms, task coordination, documentation, follow-up, and project-status reporting. Exceptional organization & communication skills are highly desired. Experience with construction projects may be beneficial but is not necessary.

Full Description: Project Setup & Planning: manage execution of contracts, set up projects in management software, create milestone schedules, prepare contact lists & communication plans, schedule meetings
Schedule & Task Management: maintain schedules, monitor deadlines & progress to ensure those deadlines are met, prepare for project-status meetings, maintain concise dashboard within project management software
Client Communication: serve as primary contact for routine project coordination, schedule meetings, distribute agendas, prepare & distribute meeting minutes, follow-up on overdue client decisions, maintain record of client approvals
Internal Team Coordination: coordinate assignments for principal architect, architectural designer, and administrative support, monitor task status, prepare weekly workload & deadline forecasts, document decisions, support project delivery
Consultant Coordination: request & track consultant proposals & other documentation, schedule meetings, maintain contact information, track questions & approved responses, maintain coordination log, track progress & ensure deadlines are met
Bidding Support: maintain complete bidding records, schedule & prepare materials for pre-bid meetings
Construction Administration Support: maintain logs for submittals & other construction request documents, monitor contractual response deadlines, track meetings & construction issues, track punch-list & closeout items, collect warranties & operation manuals & other as-built documents
Project Closeout: track outstanding documents or other deliverables, maintain closeout checklist, obtain client feedback, archive project information, facilitate end-of-project debrief
