Full Description: - Starting pay range: $25-$31 an hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintenance & Repair:

Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions effectively.
Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs to ensure equipment longevity.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor junior maintenance technicians, providing on-the-job training and guidance.
Assign and delegate maintenance tasks effectively.
Monitor technician performance and provide constructive feedback.
Ensure that all maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards promptly.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
Administrative Duties:
Assist with the ordering and inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Prepare maintenance reports and other relevant documentation.
Assist with the development and implementation of maintenance budgets.

Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service to residents and other stakeholders.
Respond to resident requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and other building staff.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in building maintenance and repair.
Proven experience in leading and supervising a maintenance team.
Strong technical skills in multiple trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb stairs for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to [Weight] pounds).
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
