Full Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Differential and Transmission Rebuilder to join our heavy duty rebuild team. Experience is very helpful but not necessary to be considered. We offer on the job training and if you have any experience in mechanic work that is a plus as well. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a must.
Responsibilities
Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild differentials and transmissions using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
Diagnose issues
Clean parts thoroughly and replace worn or damaged components with precision to meet quality standards.
Follow detailed repair procedures and safety protocols during all stages of the rebuilding process.
Test rebuilt units
Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and inspection results for each unit serviced.
Ensure all tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean, organized, and in excellent condition for efficient workflow.
Qualifications
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience working on vehicle or heavy duty trucks differentials, transmissions, or related drivetrain components.
Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and socket sets.
Familiarity with power tools used in heavy duty truck repair environments.
Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to follow technical instructions precisely.
