Job Title:  Parts Sales Rep

Description:  Greet or acknowledge presence of all walk-in customers as quickly as possible.

Direct walk-in traffic to the correct department(s).

Answer all phones as quickly as possible.

Solicit orders and take orders from customers over the phone and from walk-in customers.

Process orders through the appropriate systems for filling and invoicing.

Invoice customers for orders through the computer system, including back orders.

Prioritize work and make supervisor aware of potential conflicts.

Accept personal responsibility for customer’s questions and seek resolution of any issues.

Exhibit a high degree of proficiency in inspecting and returning reman cores.

Participate in rotation of after-hour call out and weekend work schedules.

Process daily back order freight.

Examine returned parts to determine if defective, and exchange part or issue credit.

Disassemble and assemble hydraulic and air hoses.
