Function: The Barback will be responsible for providing the bar area with supplies and providing the bartender with items upon request that helps assure that the guests will have a favorable gaming experience.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Stocks bar items daily and fills the ice bins as needed.
• Assumes the duties of the bartender and cocktail waitresses during breaks.
• Replaces bottles on the beverage system, replaces juices and beer kegs on the line.
• Empties the garbage and mops the floors as needed and nightly.
• Ensures the safety and security of employees and customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Standards of Performance:

• ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data, casino procedures, company policies, and company promotions.
• Maintaining interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
• Oral and written communication skills.

Education, Training, and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One year experience in a bar, or the beverage field
• Safe food handling certification and any applicable health certifications
• Valid gaming license.

Work Environment:

• Indoor exposure to bright lights, noise, and smoke.
• Requires bending, stooping, lifting over 50 lbs., and proloned standing.
• Requires usage of kitchen equipment, bar equipment, and cash register.

Required License:

Level 2 Gaming Occupation License
