Western Plains Medical Complex is currently seeking a dynamic Human Resources Director. This position also serves as a part of the Executive Team at the hospital. The Director of Human Resource position provides support services to all departments within the facility. Must demonstrate the strategic ability to work at all levels of the organization. Must be able to assist in the design of an organization that will deliver the business strategy. Provides positive attitude by working cooperatively and effectively with staff and other administrative and support personnel in maintaining the standards of professional behavior in the multidisciplinary acute care setting. Must be able to assist in recognizing talent that will add value to the facility and performs all other duties as assigned. Responsible for the daily management and operation of all human resource related functions. Provides counsel and direction to management and employees on issues relation to established law, WPMC policies, practices and procedures.
ACCOUNTABILITY: The Director of Human Resources is directly accountable to the Chief Executive Officer.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position has the responsibility of reporting incidents, patient and/or employee issues, work related accidents, and any other unusual events to Administration or Risk Management. This position directly supervisors one staff member.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree required. At least 5 years in leadership experience within Hospital Human Resource Management preferred.
