Food and Beverage Supervisor
Job Title: Front of House Supervisor
Business: Boot Hill Casino and Resort

Function: Responsible for administration, operation, and direct management of all the front of house food and beverage activities.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the performance and supervision of all front of house food and beverage staff.
- Develops staff, conducts interviews, recommends hires and evaluates all personnel in compliance with Human Resource policies and procedures.
- Meets with personnel to plan menus, activities, and special events.
- Estimates food, non-food and beverage needs for the successful performance of all outlets.
- Supervises inventories, monitors food and beverage costs, and facilitates the collection and analysis of food and beverage information.
- Supervises cleaning and maintenance of equipment and arranges any needed repairs or other services.
- Oversees and supervises all dining area and bar staff in accordance with operational policies.
- Assists in establishing standards of performance, quality of products, service and staffing levels/costs, and food and beverage costs.
- Investigates and resolves food and beverage quality and service complaints by following established company protocol.
10. Performs informal inspections of dining areas, bars, and food production areas to ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
Standards of Performance:
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data, casino procedures, company policies, and company promotions.
- Maintaining interpersonal working relationships with all personnel.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals accurately.
- Oral and written communication skills.
Education, Training, and Experience:
- Four year degree in Business or related field
- Five to seven years experience in Food and Beverage operations and managing
- Valid gaming license
Work Environment:
- Indoor exposure to bright lights, noise, and smoke
- Requires bending, stooping, and prolonged standing
- Requires usage of currency counting equipment, computers, copiers, fax machine and telephones.
Required License: Level 2 Gaming Occupation License
