Job Title:    Front of House Supervisor
Business: Boot Hill Casino and Resort

Function: Responsible for administration, operation, and direct management of all the front of house food and beverage activities.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the performance and supervision of all front of house food and beverage       staff.
  2. Develops staff, conducts interviews, recommends hires and evaluates all personnel in      compliance with Human Resource policies and procedures.
  3. Meets with personnel to plan menus, activities, and special events.
  4. Estimates food, non-food and beverage needs for the successful performance of all         outlets.
  5. Supervises inventories, monitors food and beverage costs, and facilitates the collection    and analysis of food and beverage information.
  6. Supervises cleaning and maintenance of equipment and arranges any needed repairs or    other services.
  7. Oversees and supervises all dining area and bar staff in accordance with operational        policies.
  8. Assists in establishing standards of performance, quality of products, service and             staffing levels/costs, and food and beverage costs.
  9. Investigates and resolves food and beverage quality and service complaints by following       established company protocol.

10.  Performs informal inspections of dining areas, bars, and food production areas to ensure             that health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.

Standards of Performance:

  1. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data, casino procedures, company policies, and company promotions.
  2. Maintaining interpersonal working relationships with all personnel.
  3. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals accurately.
  4. Oral and written communication skills.

Education, Training, and Experience:

  1. Four year degree in Business or related field
  2. Five to seven years experience in Food and Beverage operations and managing
  3. Valid gaming license

Work Environment:

  1. Indoor exposure to bright lights, noise, and smoke
  2. Requires bending, stooping, and prolonged standing
  3. Requires usage of currency counting equipment, computers, copiers, fax machine and telephones.

Required License:  Level 2 Gaming Occupation License

Job Title: Internal Auditor

Function:  The Internal Auditor is responsible for conducting independent protective and constructive audits for the Company, and reporting to the appropriate parties regarding the effectiveness of controls, financial records, and operations.

 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Examines records of the Company to ensure proper recording of transactions and compliance with applicable laws.
  2. Inspects accounting systems to determine their efficiency and protective value.
  3. Analyzes data obtained for evidence of deficiencies in controls, duplication of effort, fraud, or lack of compliance with management’s established policies or procedures.
  4. Prepares reports of findings and recommendations.
  5. Ensures the safety and security of employees and guests.
  6. Other duties as assigned.

 

Standards of Performance:

  1. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data, casino procedures, company policies, and company promotions.
  2. Oral and written communication skills.
  3. Maintaining interpersonal professional working relationships with Company management and personnel, which encourage openness and trust.
  4. Technical abilities demonstrated in accounting matters, data processing, data spreadsheets, and database systems.

 

Education, Training and Experience:

  1. Four year degree in business or related field
  2. Internal audit experience in the gaming industry
  3. CPA or CIA preferred
  4. Valid gaming license

Job Title: Slot Attendant

Business: Boot Hill Casino and Resort

Classification: Full time

Function: The Slot Attendant is responsible for monitoring the performance of slot machines, the activity of the slot floor, and the conditions of the casino and ensures that all slot machines are operable or identified for repair as necessary.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides excellent Guest Service.
  • Ensures the safety and security of employees and guests.
  • Initiating and verifying jackpots per company SOP’s, progressive jackpots, jackpot overrides, and accumulated credit pays.
  • Accurately completing all necessary paperwork associated with the Slot Department.
  • Performing minor slot machine repair.
  • Handling guest service and minor guest disputes.
  • Monitor Dispatch for all service related calls.
  • Provide change for our guests.
  • Compliance of gaming regulations, internal controls, and gaming devices.
  • Explains video and reel games and pay tables to our guests.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Standard of Performance:

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data, casino procedures, company policies, and company promotions.
  • Communication abilities demonstrated by radio traffic and interaction with team members and our guests on the Slot Floor.
  • Maintain interpersonal working relationship among all team members.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the condition of the assigned slot section.
  • Comprehension of pay tables and the ability to explain them to our guests.

Education, Training, and Experience:

  • One to three years experience in gaming, preferably in slots.
  • Two year degree in business or related field.
  • Valid gaming license.

Working Environment:

  • Indoor exposure to bright lights, smoke, and noise.
  • Requires bending. stooping, lifting of 50 lbs., and prolonged standing.
  • Requires usage of slot equipment, computers, copiers, and telephones.

Required License:

  • Must be able to obtain a Level 2 Gaming Occupation License after hire
