Description: The Ford County Communication Center is accepting applications for the position dispatchers. The position is shift work with rotating days off. This job involves transmitting and receiving emergency and non emergency messages and the dispatch of appropriate responders.The successful applicant must be able to think clearly, react quickly, and accurately under stressful conditions. They must be able to make decisions, be able to multi task, have basic knowledge of computers, be detail oriented, type 35 wpm, and have good communication and grammar skills. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.Starting wage rate for this position is $12.25 per hour plus the County Benefit package.
